TurkCoach was founded in 2011 by Kemal Yilmaz, a former corporate executive who experienced firsthand the transformative impact of professional coaching during a challenging career transition. After receiving coaching that fundamentally changed his leadership approach and career trajectory, Kemal recognized the limited availability of high-quality business coaching services in Turkey.
What began as a one-person consultancy quickly evolved as demand grew. In 2013, Kemal partnered with Dr. Ayşe Demir, an organizational psychologist, to develop TurkCoach's distinctive methodology that blends Western business practices with Eastern philosophical traditions—an approach uniquely suited to Turkey's position at the crossroads of cultures.
By 2015, we had expanded to a team of six certified coaches serving clients across diverse industries. Our breakthrough came in 2017 when we partnered with one of Turkey's largest conglomerates to develop a comprehensive leadership development program that demonstrated measurable improvements in executive performance and employee engagement.
Today, TurkCoach is recognized as Turkey's premier business coaching firm, with a team of 15 coaches working from our Istanbul headquarters and serving clients throughout Turkey, the Middle East, and Europe.
